Friends, I have never been able to pick up a proper life insurance policy for myself due to my mental health hazards. Now that I have my family consisting of my wife and daughter, I am in true need of a genuine one. Could you guys suggest me a life insurance program that might be of real help to my family when I am not there !
thanks,
Godfrey

hi ! In my opinion you need to consult attorneys and some professionals dealing with these sensitive issues. I'm sure you would get good advice from the legal board maintained at freeadvice.com.

hi...I am an insurance advisor residing in Ohio. One thing that I can certainly figure out is your need to pick a coverage that has a waiver for pre-existing medical conditions. When I was once in Kentucky I used to sell indemnity policies and I had the license to sell health insurance for accident, sickness, and disability.

Thats the reason I can tell you now, since its natural for you to choose a waiver of preexisting conditions you should also be aware that any mental health problems or any health problems at all will not be covered for about 12 months incase your death occurs from that within that time.

Let me add to that my friend...since it has already been stated that the problems you face within those 12 months won't be covered, but once the 12 months are over you'd be covered for your pre-existing conditions. At this point o' time I can't suggest a company that would suit your needs ...but I am sure that its best to look for the online options. But you must not forget to keep an eye on their waivers and riders for the pre-existing condition clauses.

He is asking about life insurance not health. There is no waiver for pre-existing conditions in life policies. It will all depend on the extent of the mental health issues on whether someone will issue a life policy or not. There is always guaranteed issue whole life, but they are usually no more than $25,000 policies.
