I'm suffering from a sleeping disorder. I have a sleep machine that really helps a sound sleep. Can I get it covered?

This is normally covered under your Homeowner or Renter's insurance policy as part of your "unscheduled personal property" or "coverage C" in your insurance policy.
Medical equipment (if this is medical equipment) is under no special limits of coverage for your personal property. If this is just one of those machines that makes noise (white noise, waves lapping on the shore, etc.) then it's just another one of your things that would be covered on a Named Perils basis from your homeowners policy.
