they promises of offer low cost health insurance, irrespective of your health condition and habits.
are they real??

| I just started selling health insurance and have been calling health insurance leads an a lot of people have already signed up with them. The prices they are paying are so low it just makes me wonder if it is real insurance or some sort of discount plan. |

| If you're referring to Cinergy...it is "real" insurance, but there are many hidden costs. While they do not have deductibles, there are many things that are not covered. They state that you can go to any doctor you choose, but if you look for a provider they are few and far between. The dental coverage that they advertise, for example, does not have any providers within 50 miles of my location. Because of the lack of providers in my area, I have never really encountered many people that have been with them...but the television advertisements are increasing. |

| Bantly, what Cinergy sells is a health discount plan and not an actual health plan. What you have described about them sounds very much like the advertisements of the discount plans disguised as health insurance. |

| Cinergy offers discount medical plans, life insurance, and health insurance. The health insurance is a limited medical plan and they are "qualified creditable coverage." They also offer health discount plans and dental / prescription discount plans that are NOT insurance. |

CALLED CINERGY FOR A QUOTE. GOT IT. 3 DAYS LATER THEY CALLED ME BACK TO TELL ME THAT MY $50.00 PROCESSING FEE/ACTIVATION ] WOULD BE WAIVED IF I COMMITTED TO THEIR PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAD PREVIOUSLY SPOKEN W/ 2 REPRESENTATIVES AND NO ONE HAD MENTIONED TO ME THAT "EXTRA" $50.00" FEE

SOUNDS TO ME LIKE JUST ANOTHER SCAM TO ENTICE PEOPLE WHO CANNOT AFFORD THE HIGH RISING COST OF INS. I WAS QUOTED A PRICE & 3 DAYS LATER WAS TOLD ABOUT A $50.00 ACTIVATION FEE??????????????

Well Maro, I quite understand your frustration.
What was it that you were told first? What program were you asked to join to get your fees waived?
It'd greatly benefit our visitors if you share with us your experience, of course without being too personal, with Cinergy. |

its a scam insurance company with hidden fees bad better business bureau review license been suspended in new york got fined 700k and will be shutting down shortly due to its lack of ability to pay all its up comng fines and trials
