Improper Behavior Insurance

Nope never heard of it, however I do know a few people that could've caused the carrier to go broke paying claims! :roll:

Hi all I can tell you is that 'Improper behavior' could mean a lot of things to me. It could be something that causes me mental exhaustion or physical stress...thats precisely the reason I'd like to know which way you're looking at it!

See, if it is some sort of an accusation you may as well file a lawsuit alleging the offender...but whenever it comes to hurting someone physically & thus causing long-term damages to a person's physical health or mind for good...then it becomes a serious crime in the eyes of law!
If you're counting upon it in its superficial sense...then I don't think it could be covered..

Keep in mind that you can't insure for a criminal act.... but you can insure for defending that act. There are coverages such as:

  • Abuse/Molestation Legal Expense and Loss Reimbursement

Tenant Discrimination Liability Insurance

  • Medical Provider Sexual Abuse Defense Insurance

    Let me know more what you are looking for and maybe I can help find a specific coverage for you.

Hi, I'd believe a 'Tenant Discrimination Liability Defense insurance' would cover property owners as well as managers whenever their past , future or present tenants would sue them for alleged hassles, discrimination or unethical eviction. Am I right?

Hi Fatman,

You're quite right by saying that. I've found that it would include the following features-

* Full coverage for risks associated with any such acts in the past

* It safeguards property owners & managers who have covered their properties.

* It protects the policy holders from all non-employees' lawsuits made against them.

* It covers residential properties including apartments & condominiums

* Apart from residential properties it also covers business properties.

So, I'd rather say that it is definitely an effective form of coverage for all business owners.

Thanks ArindamSenIndies...I believe amongst the other forms shared over here, the "Medical Provider Sexual Abuse Defense Insurance" is about harassment caused by a physician to his patient. It could certainly be measured upon a number of occurrences. Fatman

Hi there..
See, claims or lawsuits associated with sexual misconduct affected by the reasons why a legal action becomes inevitable against an unethical physician. Such factors could be summarized as follows-
* Avoiding fiduciary duty (it instructs physicians to offer a justified care against a reasonable fee)
* Causing emotional distress
* Breach of contract
* Lawsuits filed by the patient's spouse
Hope that makes it a bit more vivid!

Hi all,

There are many such cases wherein a person who has employed an unethical physician could also be pulled for questioning. All these factors would take into account a lot of other things-

  • Questions associated with such coverage
  • Safety strategies
  • Chances of indemnification of the accused

Regards,
Evan
