With earthquakes on the East Coast and arriving hurricanes, insurance providers are now being overloaded with desires about insurance. Standard renter and homeowners insurance policies do not usually contain flood or earthquake insurance. These insurance policies can be very expensive. The decision of having these plans should be thought about very carefully. Better check this out: Weighing the costs and benefits of specialty insurance.

Call the insurance company and ask them what they need from you.

I read the sample letter(cancellation). Where specifically in the letter are you suppose to put in your contact details? This information is not included in the sample letter. I hope you can assisst me in this regard.

Thank you.

Just take a print of the cancellation letter given in the beginning of this thread and copy the letter in paper filling out all your personal info.

At the end of the letter after your address, you can add your contact number.

Make sure that your policy number is given correctly. This is where your insurer will get all your personal info and get back to you.

Also don't forget to keep a photocopy of the letter with you as a document.
