I got across online transactions insurance. Also heared that the credit cards provide 100% transactions insurance. Can anyone tell me more about this as I feel this is one of the most important news for my business?

Hi VIJAYRAJ

I haven't heard of online transactions insurance before. Can you please let us know in what context you have heard about this insurance? Maybe that will help us gather some information.

I'm working for a insurance company..But My job is to provide them valid leads. I also never heard that the payments are made against online purchase....sounds good Exclamation But is it safe??? Because credit card is involved & you know it's getting risky day by day using the credit card on internet.

Hi Horizon,

You could just be the right person to tell us regarding the classification of leads as per their market value. How do you actually select the leads? Do you consider their past purchase records while segregating them?

Is it somewhat similar to the credit card insurance?

No fatman..It's completely different. I'm working as their marketing person. In other words you can say creating awareness about their product. My job does not involve their past purchase records. I'm supposed to drive target traffic to their website. But it's hard to find people who are really interested in buying insurance. So I've to search on internet for these kind of people. Visit lots of forums, websites dedicated to various insurance policies. Find email valid addresses..I've to some research before posting their advt. on internet.

Yes, it is about credit card use for purchases online, mostly. On paypal site, more information is available for these type of insured transactions for few reputed websites. They cover upto $2000 on fraudulent transactions. I am knowing only this much. But could not get info on who is the real insurer, behind the web transactions insurance-paypal or any mediator. Thought of anyone knows more about this or any alternatives like this.

When you buy something by online payment then there are some laws which govern the safe delivery of goods to the buyers. DRS (Distance Selling Regulations) are applied to a sale. It is the responsibility of the seller to insure the safe delivery of the goods to buyers, and he can take insurance for the goods which he is selling. A seller can charge additional money for the insurance of goods to the buyers and buyers can refuse to pay that money. In case of any loss or damage to goods it is the sole responsibility of the seller to send a fresh product to the buyer.
