WASHINGTON — President Obama signed an executive order this week establishing a White House Office of Health Reform, another signal of the seriousness of his intent to overhaul the U.S. health care system with an eye to cutting costs and expanding coverage to the growing ranks of people who are without coverage. It''s early in the legislative process, but one key point of contention is the new public health insurance plan that Obama proposes and that would compete with private insurance plans.

yes i do agree that it may a revolutionary in nature and surely those who are deprived of the health benefits will surely get the chance to get coverage and thus to be financially free even in this crisis of recession. :wink:

There are alot of people who don't even go to Dr's appts because they don't have Health Care. Hence,...their health gets worse. EVERYONE should be covered, Medically, someway.
