Are there any short term disability available ?

Posted: Thu Oct 20, 2005 3:05 am   Post subject: Are there any short term disability available ?   I have bought a life insurance policy on myself and on my wife to cover if one of us suddenly pass and also to cover mortgage. But we have no short term disability insurance through our jobs. Whereas there is always the possibility to be hurt or disabled than to die. Posted: Thu Oct 20, 2005 3:34 am   Post subject: no short term policy   Insurance is by and large a personal decision and you need to judge on the issues like how much savings do you need, what are the federal, state, and local rules available etc. You just talk three to four insurance agents from different companies for the kind of insurance you needed.
