Someone please tell me regarding the threats to our property titles under the current global crisis. Do we really need Title insurance under the current economic conditions?

I don't know that you can even purchase a home without getting title insurance..can you? We've purchased, six homes and had it every time..

Yup, I guess we need it, because this is perhaps the only civilized way of procuring things. There were times when we'd simply own a gunshot and declare our properties. But now, Title insurance is probably the safest way to transfer the seller's property to the buyer. Roddick
