Yeah nique1221, we are thinking about it. We should have something like this in the next few days. But we will need all the members' support and feedbacks to come up with something good.
Thanks,

Well I will talk to Lakemen at some point. Maybe we could try it out for the month of Feb...only thing is I cannot see everything that lakemen can so it would be difficult for me to keep tally I think. Ill have to figure out a way to keep track of it. Give me a day or so...Ill think of something. _________________ ~Monique~ |

I surely wont Fatman. It would rather make me feel good if the community members take up the charge of a few things so that we can focus on the other stuffs.

Yes we can but we gotta make sure that its crystal clear to the members. Hope you understand my point.

Just leave me a PM whenever you want to know something and I shall try to share it with you, if possible.

Not a problem, take your time and I am sure you will come up with something exciting for us.

Oops, I forgot to answer you Rachel in the last post.
Yes, you read it right Rachel! nique1221 had suggested some sort of friendly contests to improve the community participation. You can go through the thread for a clear idea of what she actually put forth.
Thanks,

Hi guys
I am not an Insurance expert but one idea strikes my mind over and again.
We can have a booklet on Auto Insurance, may be for a couple of states to begin with. This would certainly help the general users like me to get a quick view out there.
Is this a good idea to have a booklet over here ? |

Sounds like a good idea, Mac. Now that we have some dedicated members with us, it would be worth having their insurance knowledge encashed through the booklet. I think we certainly can try this. Lets see what the other members have to say on this.
Thanks,

Can you explain the booklet idea a little more to me? What kind of info would you want in it? Meaning very detailed? Various companies that are avaiable? Just looking for some more info on your idea... _________________ ~Monique~ |

Hi nique1221,
Thanks for your interest with the booklet. As I had said earlier, I am quite an Insurance novice and thus you guys would be in a much better position to deal with it.
I think we should try n have as much information in the booklet, so that someone reading it might not have to refer to some place else for any missing info.
For starters, lets suppose some one from Alabama wants to have an Auto Insurance for his/her car. We shall have all the necessary info. to help that person out in getting the best deal.
These might help as a starter,
1. What will be the min premium rate - Suppose $x is the valuation of the car then $y% of amount should be the Insurance amount and $z will be the premium amount.
2. What accidents are covered under the policy and what are not.
3. What would be the preferred insurance companies.
You can add many more things to it, I suppose.
That was just my contribution. Its now upto you guys to come up with something unique and interesting. Lets give the community something to cherish in the form of this booklet.
Regards,

Yes I do think think this is a good idea...I would def be willing to participate in this. Just show me the section and I will be happy to start working on PA since that is where I am licensed and I work with and have worked with many companies in the past in many different areas of insurance. _________________ ~Monique~ |

Thanks nique1221. As of now, we still dont have a booklet section in the site. But you can start working on your desired state, i.e. Pennsylvania. Once we are done with a few states I think we can definitely have a dedicated section for the booklet. Also, it would be helpful for the community if you can also collect info. on some other states, too. You can also involve some of your friends in it.
Looking forward to working with you.
Regards,

| I have a good idea! You should make account managment more convinient, for example by making control panel like in google adsense, so that if somebody reached the amount of 50 dollars he could just lick a button like "Send money" and the appear in his pay pal account. |

Hi cvetok,
Certainly a great idea from you! Me and Fred will work on it. We will implement this as soon as we can.
Your ideas would surely be appreciated by one and all.
Thanks again

I'm borrowing some of this info from another site, for information purposes
What about a break down of policy 'types'
Auto Insurance -
with subtopics under each (ie)
claims and coverage questions,
shopping-purchasing etc
connected to each category-then when someone 'searches' (for instance) ''How much of a deductible should I get''...if that question were in one of these categories wouldn't that direct them directly to that question/discussion board? I don't know much about computers, (at all), but know that people 'search' that way alot...
Boat Insurance
Commercial Insurance
Dental Insurance
Disability Insurance
Homeowner Insurance
Long Term Care Insurance
Liability Insurane
Life Insurance
Medical Insurance
Mortgage Insurance
Motorcycle Insurance
Pet Insurance
Renters Insurance
Title Insurance
Travel Insurance
Workmans Compensation
just a thought |
