Commercial insurance for your business... I am not too aware of the exact what you need but google it up. Also if your trade requires professional technicallities ( i dont see it requires) but incase there are any situation where a professional mistake done by your company can make u a huge loss..you can take that coverage also.

Most of engineering companies have such insurances

I own a commercial cleaning company as well, and I only carry business liability insurance. None of my equipment is expensive enough to carry additional insurance on as the replacement cost simply isn't that high.

Residential cleaning jobs rarely require any equipment, but you still need business liability insurance in case something becomes damaged at the client's house. Some office cleaning jobs will require that you have each employee or yourself bonded as well.

If you have multiple employees, then Workman's Comp coverage may be required in your case. However, most cleaning companies don't carry it unless they have a large staff.

I, on the other hand, simply subcontract the majority of my work out and require that each contractor has their own liability coverage.

What type of cleaning do you focus on?

My name is Josh Shorter and I am an insurance agent in Dallas, Texas. I have experience in finding insurance for cleaning companies. I would love to help you out. Give me a call at 214.808.4517 or email me at joshs[at]upshaw-insurance.com. It really isnt that expensive but it is well worth having it if something were to go wrong.

Thank you

Josh
