I'm a dog breeder and I'm quite new in this business. I've heard of a dog breeder policy but I'm not sure of what it exactly is.

You could certainly get this coverage for your breeding business. It would protect your business from burglary, damages as well as losses in terms of dogs that you breed.

It's like a safety shield for your business assets. The vet bills are usually covered under circumstances that the dogs fall ill or meet with an accident. It also covers your losses in the event your dogs die.

There are different benefits attached to such policies. A dog breeder could land up in serious trouble in the event a visitor or a member of his staff is injured by a dog. So it's important to check if your breeder's insurance offers any liability coverage.
