if the officer didn't issue a ticket at the scene of the accident. (no other car was techniqally involved) can they send a ticket in the mail with in 30 days of the accident

Sure you can...I've seen people get tickets up to 90 days post the infraction/accident..

Lori, would you please explain why it could take so much time for them to issue a ticket? Do they relate it to investigations that they might carry on after the mishap?
