Is there subsidence coverage in Colorado for homes built after 1997? Thank you.

Homes built after February 22, 1989 are not covered by the mine subsidence program, which means that homes built after 1997 are not covered by the program..

Who is eligible to participate?
Any Colorado homeowner whose residence was built prior to February 22, 1989 and has been identified as being in a subsidence prone locale.
What areas are affected by subsidence?
There are nearly 50,000 acres undermined along the Front Range corridor, in Boulder, El Paso, Jefferson and Weld Counties, as well as Fremont, Huerfano and Las Animas Counties. Coal mining took place from the late 1860s until the 1930s, and in some cases into the 1950s. More than 7,500 homes have been built over mined lands and 25,000 residents could be affected.
