Disability vs. Unemployment

I'm on disability now, which runs until November but I got laid off recently. Will I lose my unemployment eligibility if I wait till November to apply?

Are you going through a temporary phase of complete disability at work? You could surely appeal for benefits that would commence at the end of your disability in Nov. But right now, I guess it would depend a lot on their understanding of this disability determination.

It is short term disability. When I'm ready can I apply for unemployment benefits.
