i was in a go cart accident a few months ago. i sustained a laceration on my upper lip and a broken nose. i do not have health insurance and the medical bills just keep coming. they are almost driving me into bankruptcy. i did not file a report with anyone and i was just wondering if i was entitled to money damages from the business to at least cover my medical bills. please advise

You were at a go-cart track? I'd certainly contact an attorney and see if you signed away ALL of your rights when you got on the ride. Most attorneys offer a free initial consult.

I highly doubt that a go-cart place is going to let someone in one of their vehicles without having you sign a waiver. Now that waiver usually only applies for normal circumstances….meaning that if they were negligent in someway there may be a way to recover some money. I agree with Lori, you will need to consult an attorney and see what they say. What did the go-cart place say when you were hurt?

i was in too much pain to hang around. they were going to call an ambulance but my boyfriend rushed me to the ER. i do appreciate your time
