Posted: Wed Oct 14, 2009 1:24 am   Post subject: Gieco claims adjuster giving me a 2 party check   Ok. here is the situation... My car parked in front of a store. Got backed into by someone. They filed a claim with their insurance. Got a call and here are my options. Go through Gieco's rapid repair process. See the adjuster and get a check mailed to me issued in my name and my body shop of choice. What I want to know is can I just get a check issued to ME only for the cost of damages. I own the car (clear title) and just want the cost of the damage to my property. I am happy to hear that you chose your own shop instead of them steering you into one of theirs. Good for you. If they give you any flak about that, I want to hear about it!
