Medical Insurance while out on Disability

Posted: Sat Oct 17, 2009 1:18 am   Post subject: Medical Insurance while out on Disability   My doctor has put me on disability for an undetermined amount of time. My employer currently pays 50% of my medical insurance. Are they obligated to continue to pay their portion until I am able to go back to work? I work for a large cellular company and when I went on short term disability 8/08 thru 2/09 my benefis were still paid. I was approved for long term benefits from 2/09 thru 2/11 and they still pay for my dental, health and only standard life insurance premiums.	alizay35 New member Joined: 13 Oct 2009 Posts: 9 3.35 Dollars($)
