| 1969 Pontiac GTO 2 door coupe appraised 6 months ago at $27,900.00A tree fell on it, insurance company wants to total it, salvage title $8,000 body shop work $3,000 to repair glass $1,000 to repairSO now I have a $30,000 dollar car and a $8,000 salvage title...my questions are 1 Can I insure car for the full appraised value before salvage and repaired2 if I in the furture choose to sell the car can I sell it for $30,000 even with the salvage title3 Is there a way to convert the salvage title back to a clean titleI really can't see how they can total this car (you all would have to see it with the little damage) if you were to see it front ,rear, drivers side, going down the street you would never know, and it runs like a bat out of hell...I guess I need help understanding Salvale titles and how it works on the furture of the car, and can it be reversed??? |
