Posted: Sun Oct 25, 2009 11:13 am   Post subject:    I'm going to make a guess..(posted under auto claims)...If you've had a car fire, and the fire started from a faulty issue in the car (let's say bare wires)..the cause of the fire would've been mechanical failure, thus not covered HOWEVER, the resulting fire damage is covered.
