we had a house fire and our personal property, such as items that were damaged out in the fire, added up to 60,000. can the insurance company subtract money for contents packout or dry cleaners from the total of the personal property amount?

If this made sense it would be easier to answer.

What does " for contents packout or dry cleaners" mean?

contents packout is when a restoration company comes in and packs every we own out of the house to put into storage so they can start fixing the house. dry cleaners or laundry bill is for all the clothes in our house that had to be cleaned due to smoke smell or smoke covered items. the laundry or cleaners bill was made out to me but i then wrote a check for the full amount to the cleaners. the contents packout was made out to the restoration and sent to me so i could give them the check.

That is considered in your payment based and is always included from the bid by the cleaning contractor. Did they exclude this?
