I'm in California. After 11 month of employment, I was laid off 8 months ago. I'm currently receiving unemployment benefits.
I suffer from wrist tendinitis due to the excess use of the computer (HR/Payroll Manager- 10 hrs a day on computer) from a former employer of 2 years.
I was too busy to claim WC at the job (I did reported the condition to my boss, but I neglected to go to the doctor)
This condition got worse when I accepted an employment at my very last job of 11 months. I was new a the job and I didn't' want to compromise my employment.
After I was laid off, my condition has worsen.
Will I qualify for disability benefit if I stop my unemployment? and
Can I still report my injury to my former employer and get disability and medical benefits? Which employer should I report the injury? if not, what are my best options? thanks |
