| Hey, PLB...this may be a 'longshot' to ask but,......you said the accidents happened near signal lights? The reason why I'm asking is because at SOME areas, with the signal lights, there are cameras that 'record' everything you do. I don't know where you live. In California, at SOME area, in San Diego County, they have these cameras. My mom and I were talking about an accideent that happened recently, in San Diego (my family lives there). My mom was saying, according to the newspaper, this woman was in an accident and said it was the other drivers fault......but, the cameras showed otherwise. |

I was hit from behind in a parking garage after I had backed out and was preparing to move forward. They say it is my fault that I was hit. The lady lied and named a different place of where the accident happened, a different date . She was speeding and on her cell phone. Speed limit was 15 mph. Just a few scratches on my car but she claims the big dent in her fender is her damage. Does not look like it came from this accident. I think it was staged and my insurance co. is letting her get away with it. Help!!!!

If you were backing out, and got her fender, they you are at fault. If you were all the way out and going forward, you wouldn't have hit her fender..she would've hit you square in the rear.
Your carrier should be measuring damage etc., if there is a discreptancy. As too the amount of damage, depending on the vehicles involved but a bumper to a fender, can just crush, or collaspe a fender, depending on where it hits the fender, there is nothing behind it.. There is plenty behind the bumper
