what should the starting asking price be for a auto accident

A guy pulled out in front of my car we collided. I have a pinced nerve in my C4/5 right side and pinched nerve in my C2 left side. I have done the chiropractor and recieved a 6% mmi then got a 8% mmi from my neurologist. I have had multiple injections and god know show many drugs with no help. My bills are around 35,000.00 in just medical. This does not include that I lost a job due to not being able to work as well anymore and have obviously lost wages there. I am about to soon get into the settlemnt phase and want to know about what to ask or how much respectfully think Century 21 may think Im worth.
I still have massive pain on frequent occasion that make life annoying to be kind. Also I can't do many physicall things like before with out added head and neck pain. I am 28 about to be 29 with three young kids. I have been told the pain will never go away and to get use to it. I am mad and depressed more than before but hide it a bit but seriosly I tried to play tennis and it was okay if I played a small child because thats all I could play against it hurt so much to use my muscles like that. So yeah thats about it
Thanks

First off, has the other dirivers liability been established? If so then your med. expenses are pretty much a given, as is loss of income provided you can establish you were unable to work due to your injuries.

Pain and suffering is a different kettle of fish and a personal injury lawyer would probably be your best bet.

Liability was the other persons. I have an attorney but to say the least when I ask them this question they keep telling me they don't know. I honestly don't know what more theuy need befor ethey may have and idea. All the medical records are turned in so seriously give a guy an idea. But I would like to be able to go to the table with some idea of what to be asking for.

  (I'm not sure which to do).

You may want to either have a heart to heart with your attorney and have him/her give you a ball park figure or you might want to seek the services of an attorney who does not mind spending a little quality time with the person paying them 33% of the settlement.

Heidrek is correct... there is no good way for anyone to know what your claim is worth unless we knew where the accident occurred, all your personal information (age, occupation, prior condition, etc) and reviewed your medical records and treatment. This is why your attorney is putting all of this together and sending it to the adjuster.

Just to put this into perspective... lets say you are paid $30,000 more then your medical bills. This means your attorney is going to collect about $10,000. It's probably going to take him/her a few hours of work. Do you think $10,000 is worth him/her explaining things to you in detail?

Amazing. At least a couple times per week, someone posts here asking a question when they have an attorney. Now this is a great site to get some advice or at least to get headed in the correct direction, but how do people not hold their attorney more accountable...or better yet make them earn the money they are going to get out of the process.
