So i was in an accident the other day, i was not at fault. I filed a claim with the other guys insurance. Should my insurance agent be responsible from here on out as far as getting what I should and negotiating different things?

NO, not at all..first of all your agent probably knows very little about how claims are settled.Are you talking about payment for the damage to your vehicle or were you also injured?
