We have a new licensed driver who received their license on New Years Eve. Unfortunately when I came home to add her to our existing policy the Triple AAA offrice closed at 1:30 for New Years Eve. Am I allowed to let her drive before I talk to the insurance company or does she have to wait until Monday. I need to find out if she is automatically covered under our polilcy

This person had a temp license and was not listed? Point I'm making is that probably nothing has changed before or after as the person was probably driving just the same.

My recommendation is if your concerned over this, wait 2 days.

Most likely they will be covered if in an auto accident but the coverage might be lowered to the state minimum (some states allow this).
