From what I have seen, the most often paid amount is between $11,000-$12,000. I was wondering if anyone knows or could direct me to information about what kind of pain/suffering corresponds to that amount? Lost a leg? Hospitalized for a week? Became depressed? It depends on a number of factors like the credibility of the witness, any pre-existing injury, age, income and even family status.
