WHAT CPE STANDS FOR IN ENGINEERING INSURANCE?

I don't know if it pertains to 'engineering' insurance (which I've never heard of)...the only definition I'm aware of for CPE is Custom Parts and Equipment.

I guess CPE refers to the continuing professional courses. These are online training programs aimed at engineers or professionals associated to the engineering fields.

There ya' go...Rod's likely correct..however, Rod, why would this be in a policy? Is it a requirement to keep it in force?

I'm guessing they would teach you which end is the engine and which end is the caboose.

Nope, I happen to know a little about that 'type' of engineer, my Daddy 'were' one, and my husband still is... :wink:

I still don't understand why that (if it's continueing ed) would be in ANY insurance policy like this? :?

There could be some sort of requirement in certain policies that engineers developing certain products or components of products for aero-space, aircraft, automotive.....have continuing education for say product liability insurance.

Just a thought.
