| I am in california, and am a stay at home mom. I already have a college degree (go Trojans!) and I am seriously considering selliing insurance. PS Ihave 10 years of retail sales in my backround...all the terms when I called the state were very confusing. From how it sounds, I want to be my own boss but able to represent lots of different insurance companies. i want to specialize in life, and malpractice insurance. Ho much can I expect to make and how much advertising budget should I allow? see? I am totally clueless! |

I believe you want to become an Independent agency...Am I right? If you want to become an agent, you have to pass the state exams to get the state license.
