Had an accident NEED help!Insurance Co. takes 100% Liabilty

Ok here is the story.

I live in PA, a no fault state.

I was involved in a car accident on Jan. 29, 2010.

I was driving home one night from work around 7:30 pm. I was going the speed limit, on a straight road (I was going north), when a car turned in my lane (he was going south) and he justed stopped less than 150 feet in front of me. I had slammed on my brakes, but there was not enough time to stop.

It ends up my car was totaled a 2001 Lincoln Continental, I am not sure about his (2009 Sabaru Outback). The was a passenger in his car and he claimed that was the other driver was at fault. The driver missed a driveway he was trying to turn into, even though there is a sign stating "No turn around". His insurance company is taking 100% liabilty. The officer at the scene also explained that this was nto my fault.

At the time of the accident, I only had a a slight knee tinge. The next day driving home (Saturday night) I started feeling a pain in my back. I had off the next day and rested. On Monday I had inentse back pain, and I tried to work through it on Tuesday, but it was so bad that I had to seek medical treatment Wednesday morning. There was nothing on X-rays, but I was on medical leave from work till Friday, till I went for a follow up. The doctor than gave me a medical leave till Sunday and after that 1/2 days and physical therpy 3 times a week. Till my next follow up, which is Friday the 12th.

I have been in constant pain ever since Monday, Feb. 1st. Here are my questions.

I have no promblem with my insurance company.

I would like what I am entitled to from his insurance comany for my medical and pain and suffering. I am not in this for the money, I am ONLY looking for something I am entitled to. I know I should be entitled to something, but how is it determined, how much? And I can tell dealling with the other person's insurance company, this will not be easy. The first thing that the other person's adjuster said to me was that they were not at all responsible for any of my medical treatment. I also had trouble with her trying to get a car rental from her, I caught her in a lie.

So, if anyone out there can HELP ME IT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!

Thanks in Advance.

Here is what I found:

"Pennsylvania and New Jersey have a hybrid no fault system known as an optional modified plan. In these states, you may choose to be insured under a strict no-fault plan, in which case you're unable to sue an at fault driver and also can't be sued if you're at fault. Or you can choose not to take out no-fault insurance, and be able to sue other drivers. Of course, then you may also be sued if you are at fault for an accident."

You need to speak to your agent and find out what type of coverage you have.
