Posted: Tue Feb 16, 2010 9:22 pm   Post subject: Can a woman take herself off her husband's health insurance    Can a woman voluntarily take herself off her husbands health insurance if it is not Open Enrollment? He has been abusive and I am trying to start over and get out from underneath him. The divorce is not final yet either. What can I do to get off of his insurance? It may require the divorce to be finalized or you may have to obtain a court order to submit to the insurance company.
