My sister was in a car accident with no insurance. My mom bought her a car and my sister was late on her insurance payment so they canceled it. Can they go after my mom and her assets since the car is in my mothers name? And my sister doesn't have anything. Please someone give my advice for my mom. Thank you

Very possible... just depends on state laws... if they allow the owner to be responsible for the use of the vehicle.
