I have seen many resellers on the internet. Is there a way to buy direct from the insurance companies? thanks for your comments. Dan

I've never heard of it. It's just not practical for an insurance company to get into the business of selling vehicles to the public.

Find your local auto auction such as Adesa or Copart. You can buy directly from an insurer. I purchased an Explorer a few years ago from State Farm from an auction. In most cases an insurer will sell directly to a salvage vendor, but they also participate in the auctions. Adesa is a great way to purchase salvaged vehicles.

IAA (insurance auto auction)...is where all the vehicles go for the company I work for..you can bid on line, I think they are also nation wide. _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake.
