I live in california, orange county, I would like to know if the insurance will cover the car repair or cost if the accident happened during a DUI and what could be the procedure to get it done

Most likely it will be covered under the auto policy. Be prepared to start looking for a new insurance company. The procedure is... you report the accident to the insurance company.

File the claim with your carrier Cedrix, they'll tell you what to do after that...hopefully he's not an excluded driver....did your boy damage anything or anyone else?

he is included in my insurance, and no it hit a palm tree but the palm tree is undamaged, the car yes is totaled.
I just remember He has the GAP insurance too

Another ringing endorsement for the durability of palm trees. One of the reasons I keep telling my wife I don't want to plant any palm trees on our property.
