Michigan Insurance

Hi everybody, I'm kind of new here but I was wondering if anyone could help me with one insurance question.

Basic facts:
-I'm in Michigan and 22 yo
-I have a 1-point speeding ticket 12 months old
-I have a 3-point speeding ticket 23 months old (from Florida)
-No accidents
-I'm looking for the cheapest auto insurance that is legal (and that will likely be accepted by the bank, since the car is on an auto loan..)

Also, are there any online traffic schools I could do or something?

State Farm wanted to charge me 100% markup from their normal rate without the tickets (From $1000 per 6 months to $2000 per 6 months) and I'm hoping I can do better.

Thanks a lot guys!

I'd recommend checking with a local independent agent. No one here can give you a quote... especially without having your personal info.

You're in a high risk group to begin with due to your age. My advice would be to slow down, don't drink and drive or use your cell phone while driving as it causes many accidents; and drive more cautiously from now on or you will never get out of the mess you're in. As for low cost insurance it will get you on the road but it can get you in a heap of problems if you are involved in a major accident with multiple cars and injuries...
