what is the cost diff. for Car Insurace policies at NJand PHIL. Can we take insurance for one month from one state fromwhere I amBuying the CAR and take another month from my permanent state..

You are generally required to obtain insurance in the jurisdiction where the vehicle is garaged. If you are a resident of NJ, then the vehicle most likely must be registered in that state. Exceptions are made for members of the military on active duty, who may continue to register their vehicle in their home state of residence, even if they are going to be living for several years in another state.
