Read about too many other companies...rip offs and scams, etc. What do we know about this new name and company?

The guys running it really seem to know what they are doing. I've been on a couple conference calls and the management all have successful track records, good reputations as far as I can tell and I havent heard anything bad about any of them.

Hey insguy, you seem to know a bit about this co. Do they operate across all the U.S. states?

They seem to. I talked to one of their guys over their, Chris Reed. He's an employee. He told me they merged together 5 or 6 different agencies. The main one used to be called Insurance Wholesalers, which I have heard of and has been around a long time. They really seem to know what they are doing. I'm joining. I cant see anything that is alarming at all. These guys have been around for over 20 years and have a great track record, from everything I can find. Have you heard different?

Ins guy - did you actually Join this co? If so, how is it going? They are recruiting in my area and I am considering contacting them to meet and discuss their opportunity. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Asurea is not an insurance company, it is an agency. It has appointments with dozens of other insurance companies. It functions more like an IMO/FMO than anything else, giving agents access to multiple insurers without first having to be appointed as an agent of those companies.

These guys have been around for over 20 years

Yes, a couple of their "endorsed" agents were first licensed in 1979 or 1980, and the CEO, Brian Pope was licensed in the late 1980s or early 1990s. The agency's licenses are much newer than that.

They are nothing unique in a universe of competing IMOs/FMOs. To properly make a decision to join them one would need to compare their commission structure to that of other IMOs to know whether there is any advantage to Asurea or not.

They most certainly would be a better choice for most folks compared to an organization such as World Financial Group.

I worked for them a few years ago as a producer in the field. I worked the lead program in Final Expense.
They got me up and going - when I didnt know much about insurance. I received great training, fresh leads and a lot of support. There is no easy way to learn the business other than to jump in the deep end and start swimming! I have only good reports for them! I would give the a 5 star rating!

Can anyone please shed some light on the commission structure?

What would you like to know? Commission structure for what products?

the commission is teared based on production. the more you sell the more you make! also the base salary is great and allows for an easy transition from your current job. I have been with the company for about 9 years and can say it has been amazing!
