I bill insurance for an ambulance. I have a patient that has Progressive as primary but the PIP has been exhausted. I need to file Medicare as secondary insurance, but I cannot because I don't have the payer ID for Progressive Insurance. Can someone at Progressive please help me with this problem?

sure they can, if you don't have the local claim reps phone number, call your patient and get it from her/him, if you can't get ahold of them. I'd call them at their main number (1-800-progressive). You've got a claim number right? Minimally you have their insured's name and date of loss.
