my wife was in a accident but no other person was involed the insrance company made a offer within24hrs but it was alot less than what the car was worth so we declined the offer now they refusing to pay anything because they are saying 1 of the tyres was bold but we just had car m.o.t and it passed

You mean what you owe the bank? Do you know what the actual cash value of your vehicle is? A tire is not going to move numbers very much. What's the rest of this story.

DES.....usually they (Insurance ajusters) look at the mileage, the condition of the vehicle, etc.,..before they give you a 'vlaue' price. I agree with TRENCH, (because of personal experience..). The condition, of the tires, won't make that much of a difference.

Yes, today the adjusters have the technology to determine the extent of damage, distinguish between an old damage and a new one and even damages that are not visible apparently. In doing so, they'd take into account one or more of factors like mileage, vehicle condition etc.
