Your crimes are among those covered under the Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act and could result in license denial. You simply need to contact the Colorado Dept of Insurance and speak to someone in producer licensing about this. They will give you better information than anyone here can.

That's a question for the Texas Insurance Commissioner. The answer is uncertain.

If your conviction was more than 5 years ago, the answer is maybe. If less than five years, probably not.

Pretty less information provided to offer a valid response! What degree felony conviction was that? When were you convicted? Did you get in touch with the licensing authority - Kansas Dept. of Insurance?

It doesn't matter what "degree" felony a conviction may be. A felony is a felony.

DUI is not in the list of "1033" offenses, but it is still a concern of the state, and it can interfere with one's ability to be licensed. The only one who has the answer and can make that decision is the Insurance Commissioner.

I was convicted of a felony stealing charge when I was 18. almost 8 yrs later, I am now going to be 26 soon. Do you think it will be difficult to obtain the waiver and get licensed in the state of Missouri?

thanks

Theft is one of the covered felonies. You will require a 1033 waiver. The only one who can answer your question is the Missouri Insurance Commissioner.

Some states will hold an offense such as that against you forever. You won't know until you apply and disclose the conviction.

I have several felony. One being sexual assault back in 1985, I received a 5 year sentence. I have not committed a crime in 22 years. In 1999 I started working independently for a well know major adjusting firm. I earned a good work record with them, and they want me to come back to for them. The man who I was working under knew that I was an ex felon. Could (I with) the company backing me up be licensed in Florida?

I was convicted of felony theft by taking 15 years ago. I haven't had so much as a parking ticket since. Would this prevent me from getting my license in GA?
