Can I become a insurance adjuster if I have a felony?

All licenses in the insurance industry are issued under the authority of the state, however, the federal Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act (18 USC 1033, 1034) specifies that persons who have committed certain felonies are prohibited from being involved without a consent waiver from the state regulator. If your felony specifically involved a money or property crime, among others, you will need the waiver. There is no statute of limitations on when the crime/conviction occurred.

I was charged with possession controlled substance with intent 2002 and rehabilitated it 2005. Would this stop me from getting licensed, I have no priors, and squeaky clean since, decent work history, credit, and great character references. Also I am 56 am I even to old to start off in this field, although in great shape. Thanks for your help.

I pled guilty to a class A Misdemeanor for assault and was given 6 months probation, 40 hours community service and had to pay fines. The issue happened in 2012 but I was not aware charges where pressed until 2014 however I completed everything I had to and my case was dismissed. The day of the incident was was November of 2012 when I was 22 I am now one month away from being 28 and have not had anything since. Do you think this will effect me getting a license?

I got in trouble 17 years ago from running from the police on my motorcycle. Was charged with fleeing and alluding. Was put on probation which I violated and turned into a felony. I'm trying to get my 215 insurance license. Could I be denied because of this?
