| i live in tonganoxie kansas and am curious!! i just switched my insurance companies and they said nothing about a suspended lisence and gave me a lower rate and did not require an sr-22. i have had alot of problems with kansas and my lisences! so my question is, would this have happened if my lisence was invalid? |

I imagine there are other curious people in Tonganoxie, too (LOL).

Is there a reason they should have said anything? As in, your license was under a suspension for not having insurance? I'm not sure what you are asking.

Unlikely, but as you say, maybe it's just one of those curiosities we sometimes hear about. _________________ CA-licensed P&C Broker-Agent and Life Agent. CA Insurance Lic #0596197. Most insurance companies run your MVR before they write the policy. If they gave you lower rate and did advise you that you needed to have an SR-22 then your license is most likely valid. Keep in mind that most insurance companies also have a clause in their contract that they reserve a set amount of time to make changes to your policy based on underwriting or the discovery of material misrepresentation. _________________ Thanks,
