How can I build my book of business?

Posted: Wed May 11, 2011 7:05 pm   Post subject:    There are quite a few ways to get the word out about your agency. As the previous comment states you can indeed pass out flyers and get a website. A website is a very inexpensive and easy way to spread the news about your agency. It will allow people to find you when they search for insurance on the internet in your area. Just make sure that all your contact information is on the website, it is easy to use and access, and has an online quoting engine. You can also ask your current customers for referrals, maybe run a contest and give a prize to the customer who sends you the most referrals. You can also purchase leads from many different places. Also, if you are located around a shopping center you could make a flyer and ask the shops if you can post it, or leave a stack of business cards at the register of local businesses.
