How would anyone know... you don't mention really anything about what happen. I suspect that there is a _lot_ more to the story then you have... or could/would mention here.
Insurance companies are not in the habit of just paying money for claims that are not owed. Most people complain when they _don't_ pay claims... stating that they are just trying to make money by not paying a claim they owe.
