Your UMPD coverage will pay for your property damage and the UMBI will cover direct losses (medical expenses, related expenses, and loss of wages). Beyond that, you will have to come to an agreement. Without permanent injury (such as loss of limbs or eyesight, or paralysis), this is not "worth" more than a few thousand dollars, perhaps, beyond your direct losses. Unless your medical expenses and lost wages are huge, you will not receive the full $50,000 coverage amount from your policy.
