I do not know how to determine if their offer is good or not.
For instance, what is reasonable to sell (life/health for seniors) if you have appts set for you?
What is reasonable for expenses to travel?
Is a 75 mi. radius for pre-set appts reasonable?

Under the global downturn, we're coming across many like you who're traveling through various lengths. Now, as you know, it is always better to start working as a captive agent and gain a few years experience before you get independent. If you're going for a giant insurance company, their training will be of much help to you in the future. So, money is definitely there, but it is not the last thing for you right now!
