WHEN YOU FILE A CLAIM DO THEY HAVE A TIME LIMIT FOR PAYMENT??

Yes... depends on the type of claim (1st party or 3rd party). But rule of thumb would be 30 days from the time that they have all of the info needed. Some states will allow longer and just require the carrier to tell the person what additional info they are needing.
