Policies that rate by experience in NC?

Posted: Wed Jun 22, 2011 7:00 am   Post subject: Policies that rate by experience in NC?   Hi all, Are there any companies/brokerages that rate policies by driving experience and not years of continuous coverage? I've been licensed over 5 years but had a 3-month lapse in insurance in the last year. I have no points (no citations or moving violations) and believe I would fall into a low risk category if it were not for the lapse in coverage. You will not find a company in any state which will not consider a lapse in continuous coverage.
