I'm thinking of applying for a claims adjuster job but I'm also an independent agent for another agengy. Is there a conflict of interest or would I be okay as long as I didn't take any clients away from the company I'm applying as a claims adjuster. I like being an agent but I've just started and need supplemental employment. Thanks.

You want to be a part time adjuster and a part time agent? You can't do both full time. I'd think most companies would not hire you 1) as a part time adjuster and 2) as an employee of an agents office as there might come a time that there would be a conflict. If nothing else, with your time working. I'd not want to hire someone as a full time adjuster if they are going to spending a lot of that time working for another company.
