we had a 50,000 policy with a co. and suddenly we had some financial problems and couldn't pay for two months so were cancelled. tried to renew and was given the run around because of husbands age and health and told our Dr. recommended not to insure because of health. He had the same problem when policy was issued and even better now but of course older.They would not send Drs. report to us or answer at all. I an twelve yrs. younger than my husband and am concerned because of financial obligations that may occur in the future because I am raising a grandchild and still have a mortgage.It isn't a matter of greed it is a matter of concern over our future. I would like to help everyone I can but insurance co. are too greedy.
My spouse is a veteran ,served his country , was a hard worker and we live on a fixed income.what do these companys expect people to do . |
